Ryan Irby has been writing and composing original material for over ten
years, after teaching himself guitar and piano. Plucking musical
threads from a wide array of influences including the Beach Boys,
Nick Drake, Sufjan Stevens, Electric Light Orchestra, and Grizzly
Bear, Irby weaves a dense, dreamy musical tapestry exploring
lyrical themes of existentialism, mental illness, and climate
anxiety.
